For decades, the christian music industry in Nigeria has been yeaning
for something new in contemporary Gospel Music. Rap, R&B, Soul, hipop were believed to be secular and non-christian.
But with the emergence of Gospel greats like Kirk Franklin, Bebe Cece winans, Carman and others, a revolution
broke out around the world, and contemporary Gospel music was embraced by the Church. The CD boyz are a group of young,
talented, men with a vision to reach the world through their unique, revolutionised, soul uplifting music. It consists
of Daniel, Bolanle and Samuel. They came together in 1998 and together started Christ Domination Boyz. They met
as teenegers and have together performed in concerts, crusades and shows around Nigeria. Based in the federal capital
territory of Nigeria Abuja, they have a nationwide recognition in the Gospel music scene.
In 2000 they released their debut album "makes me High" with
hit songs like "stand by you" and "He's a looser". It was the first of its kind, with a wide range of music variety, and two
music videos on national Television. This is a must get album for everyone. There's more to come from the CD bOYS, The world
should watch out for this unstopable force in Gospel Music!

| Gambian named KIAC player of the year |
Mohammed Aiyegbo, a Gambian forward studying in Berea
College, named 2004/5 men’s soccer offensive player of the year at the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Mohammed
scored 21 goals this season, 3 goals short of Berea’s school record of 24 goals that was set in the early 70’s,
thus leading the league goal scorer in the 2004/5 season. Muhammed was also among the three Berea players named to the KIAC
All-Conference first team.
Aiyegbo was also named one of the 2004 Daktronics-NAIA Men’s Soccer All-America Scholar
Athletes, recipients of which must be a junior or senior in academic standing, and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point
average of 3.50 on a 4.00 scale.
A Biology major, he has had an impressive career at Berea. He will graduate in May
and plans to attend graduate school and go into medical research.
